HOW TO COUNT RESPIRATORY RATE
Demonstration on how to count respirations (respiratory rate) on an adult which is an important nurse and nursing assistant skill. In this video, I explain how to calculate a respiratory rate, assessment of respiratory rhythm (inspiratory and expiratory phrases) and breathing effort by the patient (dyspnea).
Remember a normal adult respiratory rate is 12-20 breaths per minute (bpm).
